Dr Sarah Lawrence is a Specialist Orthodontist and internationally recognized expert in clear aligner therapy. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, she has transformed thousands of smiles and helped clinicians around the world master the art and science of aligner treatment.
Originally from New Zealand, Dr Lawrence earned her dental degree at the University of Otago before completing three years of specialist orthodontic training at the University of Melbourne. Since 2004, she has run a thriving private practice alongside her husband, Dr Igor Lavrin.
A passionate educator, Dr Lawrence is a Clinical Tutor and Lecturer in the Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Melbourne, where she also supervises research and contributes to the orthodontic literature. She has delivered lectures and workshops across Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore, South Korea, India, and the United States—including at the prestigious American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) meeting. She also served nearly a decade as a Clinical Consultant and Lecturer for Invisalign in the Asia-Pacific region.

Outside orthodontics, Sarah enjoys life with her husband, their three daughters, and their dog Otto—and can often be found cooking, gardening, or planning her next travel adventure.
